2003 Interboard Science Technicians’ Conference

A total of 83 science technicians attended our 2-day event on the 23rd and 24th June 2003 in the Fitzwilliam Hotel Antrim and Omagh TEC respectively.

Participants from the 5 Boards attended as follows: SEELB 24, NEELB 23, WELB 20, SELB14 and BELB 2.

Collection of radioactive sources postponed
The collection date for the12 of our SELB schools concerned was to have been September 4th 2003. Each HoD has been sent notification by post that they will be advised of the new date when arranged.

Launch of new Datalogging Pack
	Our Interboard group (as seen above); Karen O’Brien, Dawn Kerr, Clare Caldwell (the newly married Clare Doherty!) and myself, Elizabeth McKearney are getting ready for the launch of our Easy DL file in the first term. Hopefully this will help science departments with their datalogging experiments.

Next ASE Annual Meeting
