A survey of Science and Technology within the five Education and Library Boards was undertaken by the Education and Training Inspectorate (ETI) during 1999, with the report being issued during 2000/01.

The Education and Library Boards worked in collaboration with ETI to disseminate the report directly to teachers during 2000/01. These were very successful and useful meetings which provided opportunities for communication and open exchanges of ideas.
