will monitor its effectiveness in promoting numeracy by establishing
appropriate measures, setting targets and evaluating the outcomes
on an annual basis. Appropriate measures will be determined
in due course but may include :
- review
of annual targets in relation to levels of attainment in
Mathematics at Key Stages 1, 2 and 3 and by making comparisons
with national and regional standards;
- review
of uptake of centre-based support, school-based support
and cluster support.
This
Numeracy Policy will be reviewed regularly by all those involved
in this work in SELB.
