Eight
SELB teachers of French are taking part in the reciprocal
course organised by SELB Modern Languages and ARPEC, Orléans.
The
main objectives of this course are to give
the teachers involved an opportunity to establish a link with
a French school, to improve their linguistic competence and
cultural awareness, and to make a comparative study of the
education systems.
The French teachers of
English were welcomed at SELB Headquarters in Armagh. They
were given a talk on the Northern Ireland Education system
and then taken on a tour of Armagh, followed by a reception
with the Deputy Mayor of Armagh City and District Council.
Their programme included two days in their host partner's
school and a course in the Clounagh Centre. |
