eMindMaps

eMindMaps is software that allows you to create mindmaps electronically. Key reasons to use eMindMaps include:

  • Enables pupils to organise their thinking and planning – amending and restructuring as they go along
  • Gives pupils pre-exposure to the ‘big picture’ when starting a topic ·
  • Aids the teacher in accessing an understanding of the knowledge that his/her pupils have in the subject he/she is to teach
  • Facilitates better memory recall – interactivity with content and process
  • Organises files on your computer, or web pages and to make these transparent to others
  • Supports a variety of administrative tasks
  • Avoids ‘death by PowerPoint’ – can be used as an alternative presentation tool
  • Enables effective brainstorming
