Specimen Road Safety Policies and Schemes are available for both Primary and Post Primary schools and can be obtained on request from the Road Safety Office.

A Road Safety Teaching Aid / Calendar is produced each year and made available to every classroom in all primary schools.

Details regarding the GCSE syllabus in Motor Vehicle and Road User Studies are available from www.ccea.org.uk or the Road Safety Office.

A subsidised Driver Training Scheme is available to all students aged 17 or over. Twelve hours practical instruction is given by Approved Driving Instructors and students operate in pairs.

A Road Safety Requisition is provided annually to every school. A range of approved teaching materials is available to cover the various schemes and abilities. This material is free of charge to the school.
