clounagh centre

The Clounagh Centre was purpose designed and built to be the support Centre for ICT, Technology and Science and was opened in 1992 by the then Chief Executive, Mr J G Kelly.

The Centre is still the home base for the initial three subjects and is now also the base for support staff for Home Economics, History, Community Relations, Careers, Literacy, Nursery and Primary Development.

The main aim at the outset was for all Centre staff to be of direct help to schools and colleges and this has not changed. In addition ECDL courses for all Board employees are run in the Centre.
