Access to quality
Careers Education and Guidance is vital to the success of our
young people and to Northern Ireland’s economic development.
This message has been emphasised in many recent publications,
including the Review of Careers Education and Guidance (1995),
The ‘Fulton Report’, (2003) and the Economic
Development Strategy Review Steering Group’s Strategy
2010.

The Board supports ‘careers
and Vocational Education’ by facilitating the development
needs of schools through inservice training, project development
and nurturing links with external and global organisations including
business, education partnership and government agencies.
